Driving Out of State
Florida auto insurance covers drivers in Florida, but what happens when you road trip out of the state?

Florida's state minimums for auto insurance is PIP/PD or Personal Injury Protection and Property Damage. Each state has different requirements and when you leave the state of Florida, the coverage remains and typically extend to the new minimums. Click Here for Full Review of each State Minimums.

It isn't necessary to have multiple state auto insurance policies and Progressive explains further here.
